Sell your stuff for AGO

September 13, 2007
7:00 amto6:00 pm

It’s September, and once again AGO is looking to take all those old knick-knacks that you’ve been squirreling away for the past year to raise money for the organization. However, as much as you would like to donate, we’re still working on a storage location, so don’t all come running at once. That being said, we have a week to load up before the big day - September 13th (Thursday of next week) - so don’t be shy. Given the precedent set last year, we’ll take almost anything (we don’t want pants with moths up to the crotch, for example). If you don’t think that you’ve got anything to offer, you’re wrong. We’d like to borrow your body for one hour of that day to unload, arrange, sell, pack up and dispose of the items. A sign-up sheet will be posted in the third floor hallway tomorrow morning so that we can separate the keeners from the slackers. Blocks will open up at 8am and, hopefully, close sometime in the late afternoon, so there are any number of opportunities to give up some time.

This is mostly a test of the events system for the site.
